Apply for a Journeyman Plumber License (Out-of-State Applicants Not Applying by Endorsement)

  • Completion of a plumbers apprenticeship education program (576 classroom hours).
  • 8,000 hours of licensed plumbing experience working under supervision of a licensed journeyman or master plumber.
  • Pass the Utah Plumber Theory and Practical exams.

  • 16,000 hours of licensed plumber experience working under the supervision of a licensed journeyman or master plumber.
  • Pass the Utah Plumber Theory and Practical exams.
